Complete a Business ERP period review
This checklist supports routine review; it does not replace professional accounting, tax or audit advice. Use the organization's approved reporting period.
Updated
Confirm daily and cashier closeouts
Review open shifts, payment-method totals, till movements and unresolved variances for the period.
Review customer and supplier positions
Check receivables, unapplied customer credit, supplier balances, unpaid bills, credit notes and debit notes.
Review inventory and expense exceptions
Investigate negative or unusual stock, unapproved adjustments, incomplete transfers, pending expenses and petty-cash differences.
Reconcile cash and bank activity
Compare recorded receipts, payments and transfers with the relevant evidence. Record authorized corrections through the correct workflow.
Review financial reports together
Check trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet and supporting sales, inventory, collections and purchasing reports. Export CSV only when further approved analysis is needed.
Before you finish
- All material exceptions have an owner.
- Stock and payment corrections preserve history.
- The trial balance remains balanced.
- Management approved the reviewed period.
