Run a quote-to-cash workflow in Business ERP
Use only the documents required by the sale. A direct POS or invoice may be appropriate, while negotiated or fulfilled-later sales may use the full sequence.
Updated
Select the correct customer and branch
Confirm customer identity, credit settings, selling branch and responsible user before creating the transaction.
Create the quotation or order
Record products or services, quantities, prices, discounts and terms. Obtain required approval before conversion.
Create and post the invoice
Verify tax, totals, stock availability and due date. Posting creates the financial and supported stock effects, so review before confirming.
Record the customer receipt
Apply cash, M-Pesa, bank or other supported receipt to the correct invoice. For partial payment, leave the remaining balance visible.
Correct through controlled documents
Use a supported credit note, refund or void workflow when a posted sale must change. Do not delete the source transaction.
Before you finish
- Customer and branch are correct.
- Posted totals and stock effect were reviewed.
- Receipts are applied once to the intended invoice.
- Corrections preserve the audit trail.
